Kaas Plateau ( Pathar ) trek with Thoseghar Waterfall Visit
The Kas Plateau Reserved Forest, also known as the Kaas Pathar, is a plateau situated 25 kilometres west from Satara city & 20 Km away from Northern part of Koyana Sanctuar in Maharashtra, India. It falls under the Sahyadri Western Ghats, and it became a part of a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2012. Locally called as 'Kas Pathar' or 'Plateau of Flowers'.The major portion of the plateau is Reserve Forest.

- Shoes with good grip are MUST. Pl mind that this trail is slippery.

Itinerary
Kaas Plateau Trek from Pune Itinerary
Day One
- 04:00 am - Meet at Laxminarayan Talkies Swargate main gate.
- 04:10 am - Leave for the Kaas.
- 07:00 am - Reach Satara and breakfast
- 08:00 am - Reach Thoseghar waterfall & Visit thoseghar waterfall
- 09:00 am - After visit Thoseghar waterfall we will start trek to plateau
- 12:30 am - Lunch Time once reach top of plateau
- 04:00 pm - Reach Base Village.
- 05:30 pm - Leave for Satara
- 07:00 pm - Vegetarian dinner at Satara restaurant
- 10:30 pm - Reach Pune.
