Overview

Kalsubai is known as Everest of Maharashtra, it’s highest peak in Sahyadri Mountain ranges of Maharashtra. this unique trek offers a breath-taking combination of natural environments like waterfalls, forests, grasslands, and historic forts. The Kalsubai Temple at the summit of the peak draws people from the nearby villages throughout the year. It is named after one of the three sisters Kalsubai, Ratnabai and Katrabai. The other peak Ratangad is named after Ratnabai.

Itinerary

Kalsubai Peak Trek Itinerary from Pune

Day One

  • 09:00pm - Meet at Laxminarayn Talkies Swargate Pune
  • 09:10 pm - Move towards base village. 
  • 09:30 pm - Pick up at New Shivaji Nagar bus stop. (Mari Aai Gate / Wakadewadi) 
  • 10:00 pm - Pick up at Nashik Phata. (Opp. Kasarwadi police station)

Day Two

  • 02:00 am - Reach Bari village.
  • 02:30 am - Introduction and have tea and biscuits at base village.
  • 03:00 am - Start ascending. 
  • 07:00 am - Reach on top. Explore top.
  • 08:00 am - Breakfast.
  • 09:00 am - Start descending.
  • 12:00 pm - Reach base village and have lunch. Simple veg thali, Jain food is available. 
  • 02:00 pm - Start return journey towards Pune.
  • 09:00 pm - Approx. arrival at Pune, Please note roads are in bad condition delays will be there.
