The Vasota Jungle Trek start with a trip from Pune, followed by reaching to Bamnoli village camping from where the trek starts early morning. Get a boat transfer to the base point of the trek and you will be going through a dense forest which is a renowned tiger reserve. Vasota fort situated in the laps of Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, Vasota Jungle is known for its flora and fauna that charms both trekkers and nature lovers. As you trek through this dense yet beautiful jungle, surprises won’t stop coming your way. You don’t really have to worry much about the season; this jungle remains green throughout the year. 

On reaching the top with the Vasota Jungle Trek, you will be just amazed to witness the glimpses of the fort that is based amidst several mountains and forest hills around. The package includes food and transportation from Pune to the site and return.

✡ ⛰ Vasota Fort Trek (वासोटा किल्ला) ⛰ 
Minimum seats #15. 

▪️We will start from Pune by private bus on One day Prior  at 10.30 pm and next day morning, will reach Shembadi / Bambonoli village at Koyna backwaters in Satara district. 
▪️We will take a boat for Vasota at 7.00 am. After 1.30 hours of boat journey, we will land at Met Indavali - Base of Vasota fort.
▪️Trail to Vasota fort passes through dense forest i.e. Koyna Tiger Reserve Project and offers great jungle experience. Estimated elevation gain in this Vasota is @ 600m.
▪️ After the trek, everyone must reach back to Met Indavali latest by 3 pm to board the boat back to Shembadi.
▪️At Shembadi, we will again board the bus for our return journey, bus will reach Pune tentatively by 10 pm on Sunday.
▪️Total trek journey is @ 6 hrs.
▪️Endurance level is 6/10.

Important Point : Estimated endurance level for Sinhgad hike is 5/10 and a physically fit person should hike it in less than 75 mins.
